Les Parapluies De Cherbourg

back from my malaysia trip.. i must say tht it's an enriching experience.. the only thing tht is bad abt it ..
is the long butt aching bus ride.. and the toilet.
day 1
met in sch on sunday morning 7.30 am ... yes i knoe it's super early..then we got on to the coach .. check in at the custom .. the change coach .. and my terrible butt aching journey began...

took abt more than five hr to reach KL [the federal hotel]..by the time we reached it was 4 pm ++ .. after tht we checked in.. the hotel was kinda ..old. Yeah ... oh well went shopping after we clear up all.. and bcos it was old looking i didn't take any picture of it ... we went to take picture of the twin tower..currently only got one without me in it..

then some of us went to "sungei wang shopping centre" nothing much.. wanted to load lots of flip flops home for myself but they are all not my test except for certain stores...then bcos we've got not enough time i couldn't get mine.. but i've got myself a shade and a vintagy flowery broach..haha..got stuff for other ppl...we shopped til .. 9.50 pm then went to a 24hr noodle store..and went back to our rms by 10.30pm.

day 2

woke up at 6 plus.. cos we've gotta check out by 7.30am. had breakfast but it's kinda disgusting.. the hotel's food ain't gd..the harsh browns were oil-soaked! .. then after tht.. we went to Port Klang[westport] here's a picture of it taken from the building ... we were having a 2nd breakfast there..(haha)..

The guy who toke us were kinda sacarstic.. i think he thinks lowly of us... but oh well .. for those who dunno... Singapore is the #2 busiest port in the world and m'sia is #13... and i am so proud of us !!haha...we went around the port then head to KHS a company owned by one of our lecturer's dad i heard.. the pictures below are wad i have taken from tht place.. can u guess wad are those ....
this is a mountain of soya beans believe it or not ..
and this --->are corns.... all are animal feeds.

After tht we went for lunch at a restaurant, generously sponsered by KHS ...[ thanks !! it was a wonderful meal]
After lunch we all dash to the toilet as .. the next part of the journey is gonna be another butt aching one... it was 2 plus when we left for penang... it's gonna take another 5 hrs or so to reach and in between i manage to catch some sleep again.. but due to the longggggg hrs... my neck is aching but thank God i've got a packet of twisties with me .. this packet saved my life[erm neck i mean]

Yah.. it's my RM $2 pillow... haha..oh well..i did stay up to watch abit of vcd in the bus..almost everyone was sleeping..

we then stopped at Ipoh for toilet break...

i guess i did mention how dirty the toilets are right

hmm... then after tht we got back into the bus ..and had another two hr bus ride before catching the sight of penang bridge ..I was like yeah!! but before i can say anything....

yah...traffic jam!!!realli butt aching... but here's a few pictures of the penang

Finally.. reached penang i shall fast forward this part .. seems too draggy for...but i shall include the hotel pic later...[7pm++almost 8pm]we checked in to Sheraton[5 stars] it's damn cool, damn clean the bed is damn big..blah blah..then we went to shop at some penang shopping centre..the stuff .. too ex la.. then after tht head to Gurney drive to eat..ate the asam laksa[yum],loklok..then packed the rojak, sweet corn char kway teow and muah chee back! yum yum. Then slept realli well ... for day 3 .. i think i'll update u all on the next blog.. meanwhile here's sheraton's pic
